News Around OYP

OYP activities and center is governed by both an Adult Board of Directors and a Youth Council. The Youth Council meets on Thursdays usually the last one of the month at 5:30 and again after group if necessary. The Youth Council makes all the decisions about activities and projects for the youth of OYP. Any youth may be a part of the Council, just show up to the meeting.

Thursday nights is OYP's group discussion night and free meal time. We open the center at 4:00 p.m. for computer access with dinner at 6:30 and group around 7:00 Thursday is a good night for first timers to come and meet some of the regulars so you will have people to talk to on Saturday. Saturday is a large gathering and can be a bit scary if it is your first time, especially if you are just coming out, so give Thursday a try first and then check on Saturday.

» DANCE NIGHTS

Every other Saturday is a dance night with D.J. Tim. The request list is out so put your favorites on the list and we will do our best to play them. Request time is 9:00 -10:30 on Saturdays the rest of the time is the best dance music around for your entertainment.
