February 13th will be our annual Miss OYP Pageant. Be sure to come out and support your favorite contestant in fun and entertaining event. Door Entry will be $5.00 for this special night.

» CAMP FIRE PARTNERSHIP ANNOUNCED

CAMP FIRE AND OPENARMS HAVE ANNOUNCED THIER PARTNERSHIP FOR THE UPCOMING YEAR. THERE WILL BE LOTS OF FUN AND ACTIVITIES FOR YOU. The youth will design and implement a couple of community service projects, We will go on three camping trips....YEAH!. And lots more fun activities so be sure you are a part of this new, fun partnership that will give you lots of opportunities to explore and learn outside your normal box.

» NEW PARTNERSHIP WITH YOUTH SERVICES

Openarms Youth Project and Youth Service of Tulsa have partnered with Tulsa Reaches Out to provide professional counseling services at our facility. Our new counselor will begin October 8th and will be available for private sessions as well as leading some group discussions on different topics. More services for GLBTQ youth at Openarms your one stop resource center for all things GLBTQ.

» THURSDAY GROUP AND DINNER

Come by and hang out at the center which opens at 4:00, with dinner served at 6:30 and group discussion at 7:00. You will make new friends and see all your regular ones. Come on by on a Thursday to hang out and have fun at Tulsa's Only GLBTQ youth center: Openarms Youth Project Inc.

Bringing Lesbian, Gay Bisexual, Transgender and Questioning youth and their friends together to build a peer based community that empowers them to end isolation, create a progressive youth voice; increase well being and self-esteem; and change the communities in which they live. Openarms Youth Project accomplishes this by offering peer based education, advocacy, recreation, information and leadership opportunities.
